Senior Citizen Home Rescues Elderly Man in Need of Care

GANDERBAL:On 18th March 2024, the senior citizen home in Ganderbal extended a helping hand to an elderly person named Ghulam Mohd Dar from Ganstan Bandipora. Mr. Dar, who had been residing in Muzamil Farooq’s home in Bamloora Ganderbal for the past three years, was rescued by the compassionate staff of the senior citizen home.

Mr. Dar, suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), required urgent medical attention and was admitted to SKIMS Soura. However, upon discharge, he found himself without anyone to care for him. Recognizing his plight, Muzamil Farooq reached out to Mr. Sami Wani, the Executive Director of She Hope Society for Women Entrepreneurs.

Responding promptly to the distress call, Mr. Wani dispatched a team to SKIMS Soura. The team ensured Mr. Dar’s safe transportation to the senior citizen home in Ganderbal, where he will now receive comprehensive care and support.
