Ganderbal, July,03: Several students were injured on Wednesday evening when an excursion bus, in which they were traveling, skidded off the road in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that an excursion bus bearing registration no JK15-5460 carrying the students from Government Boys Middle School Pethkoot Bandipora was coming from tourist destination Sonamarg skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Rapora lar of Ganderbal district this evening.
Reports said in the mishap many students including teachers were injured, however police and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operations.
The exact number of injured students were not known immediately when this report was filed, however local sources said that three among injured students were refereed to Srinagar medical institute for advance treatment.
