As per reports, the social-drama minted Rs 34 crore ($5 million) in North America alone.
With these numbers, Shah Rukh Khan has created history by becoming the first actor in the history of Indian cinema to deliver three $5+ million films in a single calendar year in North America.

The makers of Dunki took to Instagram to share that the Shah Rukh Khan starrer had crossed Rs 300 mark worldwide on Thursday (28 December 2023). The film minted Rs 34 crore ($5 million) in North America alone.

With Dunki’s success, Shah Rukh Khan has created history by becoming the first Indian actor to deliver three consecutive box office successes worldwide. His previous films, Pathaan and Jawan also crossed the $5 million (Rs 34 crore) mark in North America.

Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki was released on December 21, 2023. The social-comedy drama stars Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover.
Dunki is based on an illegal immigration technique ‘donkey flight’ and is based on emotions surrounding love, friendship and homecoming. It is co-produced by Red Chillies and is also presented by JIO Studios and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
