Shawl trader from Bandipora dies of ‘Haemorrhagic stroke’ in Assam

Bandipora, November 19: In a heart-wrenching incident, a shawal trader belonging to Northern Kashmir’s Bandipora died of Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) in Guwahati Assam state of the Country.

Reports said that the shawl trader identified as Mehraj Ud Din, a resident of Malikpora area of Sumlar, Bandipora, who was in Assam for shawl trading purposes, suffered a massive haemorrhagic stroke.

They said, he was immediately shifted to nearby hospital, where he died yesterday morning.

Meanwhile, the body of deceased reached his ancestral home Malikpora Sumlar on Friday morning & subsequently he was laid to rest.

He is survived by three children and wife.

The untimely death of Mehraj ud din has shocked his family and friends.

His sudden death has left his friends and family in utter shock.
Shahzad, one of Mehraj’s friend termed his death as heart-wrenching.
Another of his friends too expressed shock over Mehraj’s untimely demise and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Heart-wrenching scenes were witnessed at his home in Malikpora Sumlar while Mehraj Ud Din was laid to rest amid tears and sobs.

The Nimaaz-e-Jinaaza of the deceased was offered at 11:20 am today at Eid Gah Shokbaba, which was attended by thousands of people from all walks of life.
