BARAMULLA: She Hope Society for Women Entrepreneurs successfully conducted a donation camp of aids and appliances under the ADIP scheme of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, in district Baramulla.
The camp saw the distribution of various types of assistive devices among long-time beneficiaries of She Hope Society who have disabilities. This scheme aims to empower the disabled people across the region.
The beneficiaries showed up early in the morning to collect their devices and were overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for this generous gesture. The importance of assistive devices for people with disabilities is paramount as it not only helps them with daily living activities but also enables them to earn a living. The donated devices included wheelchairs, rollators, crutches, hearing aids, and sticks, among others.
The distribution of these devices has brought immense pleasure and comfort to those who received them.
They could not express their gratitude enough to She Hope Society for this support.
