JAMMU, MAY 01: Shiv Kumar Gupta, JKAS today took over as the new Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority from Pankaj Magotra, JKAS.
Immediately after taking over the charge, the new Vice Chairman took an introductory meeting of Senior officers and reviewed the functioning of the Authority.
The meeting was attended by Secretary, JDA, Financial Advisor & CAO, JDA, Chief Town Planner, JDA, Superintending Engineer, JDA, Tehsildar, Executive Engineer, JDA Division, No. I/II and Mega Project.
Directions were issued to officers to streamline the functioning of different wings of the Department which have direct interface with the public to make them more people friendly.
He laid stress on the timely completion of Master Plan Review exercise and expediting the demarcation of JDA land. He exhorted the employees of JDA to work with the highest degree of dedication, honesty and transparency expected from a public servant in the office and issued directions for timely completion of major projects of JDA.
