Shopian man becomes another COVID-19 victim, J-K toll to 71

Srinagar, June 18 : A 65 year old man from south Kashmir’s Shopian became fresh victim of COVID-19 on Thursday, taking the toll to two in a day.

News agency GNS quoted CMO Shopian Dr Ramesh Kumar as saying that the 65 year old was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday with acute breathlessness.

Earleir an 80-year-old man from NawaBazar area of Srinagar died due to COVID-19.

The death toll due to this virus in J&K now stands at 71.
