Shopkeepers,Drivers tested for Covid at Pul Doda randomly

Doda,August 18: Following the directions of DDC Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode and as a precautionary measure, the health authorities today conducted rapid sampling of shopkeepers, vendors and drivers at Pul Doda.

As many as 26 person’s from different occupations were tested for Covid-19 at Pul Doda randomly through Rapid Antigen and all of them have been reported negative.

It has been given out by the concerned that district administration under the supervision of DDC Doda is leaving no stone unturned to prevent the transmission of deadly Coronavirus Infection across the district in letter and spirit.

In this regard approximately 2108 tests were performed across the district exclusively through Rapid Antigen in the last 20 days, out of which 19 have been reported positive till now.

The DDC in his message, appeals the general public of the district to follow the protocol of social distancing without any fail, adding to this, the DDC also advises the people to ensure the wearing of face mask compulsory, besides asked them to follow the necessary guidelines issued by the District Administration Doda for their safety and security.

The sampling was done by District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat khan, besides BMEO Ghat Mashhood Zargar, Dr Nasir Indrabi, SI Pul Doda police post and others were also present during the sampling.
