SIA Conducts Raid in Bathindi, Seizes Mobile Phone and SIM Cards

Jammu, Sep 26 : The Security Intelligence Agency (SIA) in Jammu conducted a raid and search in the house of an Over Ground Worker (OGW) on Tuesday Morning.

Official sources told Srinagar based news gathering agency Kashmir Scroll (KS) that a team of SIA conducted raid and searches in the house of OGW Mohd Iqbal son of Abdul Aziz Manhas of Khore At present Peer Bagh Bathindi Jammu.

Sources said, during the raid, law enforcement officials discovered and seized significant evidence. One mobile phone, identified as a Realme 9 Pro 5G model, was confiscated from the premises. Additionally, two SIM cards were found, bearing the numbers Xxxxxxxxxx and XXXXXXXXXX, both linked to Mohd Iqbal.

The SIA’s swift and effective action in carrying out this operation highlights their commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.

Sources further added that the investigations are underway to determine the nature and extent of Mohd Iqbal’s involvement in any unlawful activities. (KS)
