Srinagar, Oct 08: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir on Wednesday carried out multiple raids at various locations across the Valley in connection with FIR No. 01 of 2025, officials said.
A police official told news agency, the raids are currently underway and are being conducted in coordination with local police teams. The searches are aimed at uncovering evidence related to activities under investigation by the agency.
Sources said the SIA conducted a raid at the residence of Mohammad Shafi Mir, son of Mohammad Ramzan Mir, resident of Mir Mohallah, Nasrullahpora. Another team raided the house of Abdul Majeed Rather (JEI), son of Mohammad Ismail Rather, resident of Ganjibagh, Chadoora, while a separate team carried out a raid at the residence of Bilal Ahmad Mir (JEI), son of Ghulam Hassan Mir, resident of Hanjoora, Chadoora.
The searches are being conducted to gather digital and physical evidence linked to the ongoing probe, sources added.
