Srinagar 21 : SKIMS as an Institution of excellence feels further elated at the extraordinary performance of its students at National Medicine Quiz.
The team of final year postgraduates of Department of Medicine, SKIMS comprising Dr. Sheikh Mohsin,Dr Mir Tahleel and Uzair Hilal were selected after internal round of quiz competition by Medicine Academic Committee at SKIMS to represent SKIMS Medicine at AIIMS National Medicine Quiz 2024 organised and held by AIIMS Bhopal.
The team secured first position in North zone rounds held in November 2023 and competed with shortlisted 28 Medical institutions across India on 20 th and 21st Jan 2024.
These postgraduates outscored 140 Medical colleges and premier Institutions of India and secured their place in Top 6 group.
The postgraduates were lauded by Director SKIMS Prof. Pervaiz A. Koul and congratulated them for their brilliant performance which has brought laurels not only to the Institute but for UT of J&K . He emphasised the importance of academics and competitive attitude to push new generations on pedestal of success.
