Srinagar, Nov 25 : Srinagar municipal corporation mayor, Junaid Azim Mattu on Thursday appointed two corporators Shafaat Gaffar Mir and Danish as advisors to assist him in the day-to-day functioning.
As per an order, issued by Junaid Mattu, a copy of which lies with Kashmir Despatch stated that Shafaat Gaffar Mir (elected corporate and elected member of executive committee SMC) and Danish Bhat (elected corporator and elected member of executive committee SMC), will assist and advise the him in the day-to-day functioning of the Mayor office.
The order stated that these two corporators have been assigned the task in addition to their responsibilities in their respective wards and in the apex executive body of the corporation.
As per the order they will advise and assist city mayor in areas of public outreach and community participation.
