JKAP demands proper treatment to 26 individuals under qurantine at NIIT Hazratbal

SRINAGAR, The Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader Muntazir Mohiuddin on Saturday urged J&K government to ensure supply of essential commodities to various villages declared as COVID-19 Red Zones in district Budgam especially village Soibug.
In a statement issued here, Muntazir urged the divisional commissioner Kashmir for directions to district administrations of Budgam and Srinagar for taking immedite steps for saving the lives of inhabitants of village Soibug as well as the lives of 26 persons of the same village who have been kept under qurantine at NIIT Hazratbal.
The JKAP leader said after declaring the village Soibug Budgam a Red Zone the authorities have sealed the area and have stopped the despatches of essential commodoties to the area also,which particularly include medicines, baby food, vegetables, ration etc whih has created starvation like environment in the area.
“Besides no fafacilities have been provided or kept available at the NIIT Hazratbal for the persons kept under quarantine,” said Muntazir, while appealing the divisional commissioner to intervene into the matter on priority.
