Sonamarg vehicle rolling incident:- Four including three of a family killed , two missing

Srinagar, April 29 : Four dead bodies were recovered after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near Gagangeer, Sonamarg in Ganderbal district on Sunday last night.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that four dead bodies, two are missing, two have been hospitalized while the driver is safe.

He identified injured as Nima Pasang Sherpa son of Kale Sherpa of Nepal and Sameer Ahmad son of Sageer Ahmad of Uttar Pradesh who have been shifted to SKIMS Soura.

The driver has been identified as Muhammad Saleem Mir son of Abdul Rashid Mir of Nillah Najwan.

He said that three members of a family from South India were found dead while their one daughter is still missing and wife of Sameer Ahmad from Bareilly is also missing.

He said that the rescue operation has resumed amid the inclement weather on Monday and efforts are on to trace the missing persons.(KS)
