‘Roads are for everyone, not only for VIP movement’
SRINAGAR, August 13: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party, Senior Leader, Mohammad Ashraf Mir on Thursday urged the Lt. Governor to look out on the continuous degradation of roads prevailing in Sonwar Constituency.
‘I have received continuous calls from the locals of Nishat, Isbher, Harwan, NFR, Saidpora, and Mufti Bagh areas, that the road condition is deplorable. The area is considered to be one of the prime tourism spots in Kashmir. But the Government has only worked on the road which is meant for VIP movement. The people feel completely left out.’, Mir remarked.
Mir urged the concerned authority to look forward towards overhauling of roads in Sonwar Constituency. He also said that people are facing many difficulties and there is no mechanism to address the problems of locals.
