Sopore : The Sopore Chemists Druggists Association extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Assistant Drugs Controller, Dr Zaffer Bhat.
Led by President Showkat Mahidin Lone, the delegation discussed the challenges faced by the chemists and druggists in the town.
During the meeting, President Lone highlighted the problems encountered by the association members and emphasized the need for immediate solutions. The chemists and druggists expressed their concerns regarding the availability and affordability of medicines, as well as the need for streamlined regulations to ensure the smooth functioning of their businesses.
Responding to their grievances, Dr Zaffer Bhat assured the association of his full support and cooperation in order to address and resolve the issues at hand. He emphasized the importance of a strong relationship between regulatory bodies and stakeholders for the betterment of healthcare facilities in the area.
Also present at the meeting were Drug Officer Sopore, Feroze Ahmad, and Drug Inspector Gowhar Ahmad.
