Success and failure are pillars of life: Shafia Maqbool

SOPORE, Sep 30 : Shafia Maqbool a girl from from Sopore-Baramulla who qualified KAS exams says success and failure are two pillars of one’s life.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch, Shafia said failure too has its importance in life as it becomes the motivation for one’s success.
“So we should never give up. Keep on trying till we achieve our goal,” she observed.
She said the educated youth can have a lot of opportunities once they try to explore their innate talent and when they start following their goals passionately.
She said people should follow their own mind after channelizing their own potential and avoid following others dreams.
“My message to students is not to look towards those who achieved success by cracking IAS or KAS but pursue your own set goals,” she added.
She said it was very hard to manage and prepare for this exam in the given circumstances but her passion for this prestegious exam worked for her.
Hailing from Sopore town’s Nageen Bagh area Shafia said despite internet ban in Kashmir she managed to prepare by taking notes from books borrowed from people.
Shafia told Kashmir Despatch: “I completed my schooling from Sopore after which I completed engineering in information and technology from Jammu. I had prepared for M.Tech and then started dreaming about civil service. But it was in my second attempt this time when I fulfilled my dream.”
