SOPORE, Apr 26: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls in Kashmir, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Bhirdi, praised the alertness of the security forces, stating that their successful anti-militancy operation in Sopore demonstrates their vigilance.
Speaking to reporters as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, the IGP commended the Sopore police for their continuous efforts in dismantling the network of anti-national individuals and terrorist groups.
He also highlighted their previous achievements in creating a peaceful environment for the citizens by targeting the enemies of the nation.
The top police officer emphasized that this operation not only ensures safety during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Kashmir but also underlines the commitment of the security forces in providing a secure environment for the elections.
