Sopore, June 25 : One more militant has been killed in the ongoing encounter in Hardshiva area of Sopore, taking the death toll to 2.
Official sources told Kashmir Despatch that two unidentified militants have been killed so far in the ongoing encounter.
Earlier reports reaching this newspaper said, a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Hardshiva Sopore.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.
Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure authorities suspended internet services in parts of Sopore.
