Sopore man dies after fall from tree in Handwara

Srinagar, April 26 : A 45 year old man on Sunday died after he fell from a poplar tree in north Kashmir’s Handwara.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 45 year old man identified as Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Ahad Dar of Dokalbal area of Sopore was critically wounded when he fell down from a poplar tree in Yunsu village on Sunday afternoon, however he was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival reports added.

A police officer confirmed the incident and said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.
