Sopore, August 11: A 10-year-old boy who was critically injured along with his father after being hit by a speedy four wheeler private car in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Tuesday morning succumbed to his injures.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a 10-year-old boy identified as Faisal Mushtaq son of Mushtaq Ahmad of Warpora succumbed to his injures at Srinagar Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
The officer said Faisal was reffered in a critical condition to Srinagar hospital while his injured father was given treatment here only.
The accident took place at Jalalabad Sopore after their three wheeler scooty was hit by a speedy Santro car.
Police in this regard has registered a case and started further investigation.
A manhaunt was also launched to nab the fled driver.
