Police station Sopore received a written complaint from From one Ghulam Nabi sheikh of Alsafa colony Mazbug Sopore wherein he has mentioned that he along with his family were in Delhi for almost two months, while returning to home they found his main gate unlocked and other doors / Almahrihs were broken and lot of material inside the house was missing/stolen — On receipt of this information an FIR 38/2020 got registered at ps Sopore and man hunt was launched to nab the culprits, various places were raided and suspects were taken into custody, during sustained interrogation 2 persons namely

Both residents of Astanpora Achbal broke out and revealed the entire planning of theft, on their disclosure police party has recovered almost all the stolen property-
One more accused namely irfan Gassi @ irfan Naka of kralteng Sopore who was involved in series of theft cases
of car accessories ( tape recorder) at town Sopore was arrested and various stolen tape recorders were recovered
