Sopore youth’s suicide body retrieved from river jehlum after 7 days

Sopore, Oct 28 : The body of a youth who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river jehlum in north Kashmir’s Sopore last week was fished out from jehlum after 7 days.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that the body of the teenager identified as Shahid Nazir son of Nazir Ahmad Changal, a resident of Ahadbab crossing, who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river jehlum last week on 21 October.
However, after hectic efforts by teams of police, Navy, SDRF the body was retrieved today morning.

A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that the body has taken to Sub District hospital Sopore and after medical and legal formalities it will be handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
