Baramulla, Jun 21 : Despite tall claims of State administration that they will continue to macadamize the roads in Kashmir valley , the dilapidated condition of road at Ibrahim Colony (Bowli), in north Kashmir’s Baramulla continue to irk people.
Locals of the area told Kashmir Despatch that the link road which connects Ibrahim Colony with Baramulla town lies in a pitiable condition, rendering inconvenience to commuters.
They said that due to bad condition of this link road many times, vehicles get stuck on it and Potholes add to the woes of commuters.
The local residents further added while talking with Kashmir Despatch “We time and again urged officials to ensure the repair of road but they least bothered to repair the roads.” they said.
Aalim Bhat , a local said, “From last ten years we have been promised for better road but in these years road witnesses no development.”
“We have made several requests to authorities but all went in vain, in an extra mile step i personally posted the grivance on governors grivance cell with no: 999000956315 last year,” Aalim added.
Unfortunately chief R&B cited his weakness over funds last year and promises if funds were provided department will take up work next financial year(2019),his remarks are same even though in 2019, Ailam said.
However, the inhabitants living in the area have appealed the higher ups to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievance at earliest.
