Srinagar, May 11 : Locals from Khayam in Srinagar on Saturday voiced their anger over traffic congestion in the area, urging authorities to complete the ongoing maintenance work of Khayam circle.
Locals told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the traffic congestion in the area has become unbearable. “Customers are deterred from visiting our shops and patients struggle to reach nearby hospitals. It’s affecting our livelihoods and the delivery of essential services,” they said.
A doctor requested the authorities to speed up the ongoing road maintenance work. “We urge the authorities to expedite the road maintenance work and alleviate this situation promptly,” added Zubair Ahmed, a local from Nawpora in Srinagar—(KNO)
