Srinagar, Mar 21, : Police registered a case and seized the vehicle after it crushed a pedestrian to death in Nehru Park area Srinagar city.
The incident occurred near Zabarwan Park on late Friday evening.
A police official told that a speedy Alto car (JK01X-9355) hit two pedestrians who suffered injuries. Among the injured, one died in the hospital.
He identified the victim as Muhammad Shafi Gunnah son of late Muhammad Sidique of Abikarpora Dal Lake.
“An FIR vide number 28/2020 under section 279, 337, 304A was registered in this regard. The driver has been arrested and the vehicle seized,” the official told KNT.
