Srinagar, Nov 26 : The two army soldiers who were injured in suspected gunmen’s attack in outskirts of Srinagar have succumbed to their injuries officials said.
An official informed Kashmir Despatch that both soldiers lost their breathe at MI hospital who earlier were injured in suspected gunmen’s attack at HMT area of Srinagar.
The officer said that whole area has been sealed to nab the attackers.
A police officer also confirmed the killing of two soldiers in the attack and said the identification of both is yet to be astertained. He said joint teams are on job seaches have been launched to nab the attackers.
The attack comes Ahead of DDC elections where people across Jammu and Kashmir are busy in campaigning their favourite candidates.
This is second such attack reported in the last 24 hours in Kashmir. Earlier on Tuesday a grenade attack was reported in Kupwara however in which no loss of life or any injury was reported.
