Srinagar, Sep 12: The residents of Shah Hamdan colony and Zakura areas of the summer capital city Srinagar are facing a severe scarcity of drinking water for the last two months.
The residents of both areas told Kashmir Despatch that the scarcity of drinking water has existed for the last two months, and the issue has worsened now.
“We have been without drinking water for the last two months, but for the last 20 days, the scarcity of water has been creating problems for the locals.
They said that at a time when the administration is claiming to provide drinking water to each household, we have been deprived of the same for the last two months.
They blamed the authorities for neglecting their repeated pleas.
They, how’ver appealed to the Jal Shakti department to look into this issue sothat they ll not face more inconvenience.
