Hajin—Srinagar X1 beat DFA zone in a penelty shootout in the Exhibition Football match played at Historical Sports Ground here on Sunday .
The match was organised by the DFA Zone Hajin to entertain the football lovers in the area.
The match was witnessed by huge gathering and every minute spectators cheer their favourite players.
In a thrilling match , both teams started slowly but as the time went by players upped the ante in search of a first goal. It was Striker Tariq Ahmad from DFA zone who found the net and scored a magnificent goal to gave his side a lead however DFA zone could not maintain the lead for long as equaliser comes from srinagar X1 just after five minutes when striker Mohammad Umer converted the free kick into the goal to level the score .
as team went for break scoreline remains 1-1
The second was all aggression from both the sides to take lead however failed convert the moves into net.
Srinagar X1 mounted attack after attacked on DFA zone goal post but could not make the moves into goals.As refree blew up the final whistle the score line remain 1-1 .
The match was later decided on penalties in which Srinagar X1 hold the nerve and won it 6-5.
President JKFA Zameer Thakur,B.A Shah general secretary JKFA , International football and coach Majeed Kakroo,SHO Hajin,Imtiyaz Yousuf Parray senior Congress leader and other dignitaries were the chief guest of match and witness this exhibition match at sports ground Hajin.
