GANDERBAL : To review the current security scenario in District Ganderbal, SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS chaired a security review meeting at District Police Office Ganderbal with Commandants of 24RR, 34 Assam Rifles, CRPF 118 Bn & 115 Bn and discussed different security measures for ensuring peace and stability in the district.
He urged upon the officers to strengthen the general security grid of the District for ensuring peace and stability besides taking stringent action against those involved in Anti national activities.
The meeting was attended by Addl.SP Ganderbal Shri Firoz Yehya-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Ganderbal Dr. Abdul Majid-JKPS, SDPO Kangan Shri Yasir Qadri-JKPS, DySp DAR Ganderbal Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS and other senior officers.
All the SHO’s and DO’s of the District were also present in the meeting. They were briefed by SSP Ganderbal to put in place all measures for maintaining peace, law and order in the district and ensure security and safety of the people.
