
GANDERBAL, June 16: Sr. Superintendent of Police, Ganderbal, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS) met volunteers of the Deaf and Mute Association, at DPO Ganderbal here today.
While interacting with the specially abled young children belonging to the Deaf & Mute Association (DnMA), Ganderbal, Shri Poswal appreciated and applauded their intentions and motto to serve society.
SSP directed Dy SP HQ, Dr. Maajid, DySP DAR Shri Umar Rashid-JKPS, and other officers/officials to help and assist these young children in mask distribution and dissemination of Health advisories to common public on roads to educate and aware them.
These volunteers who are specially abled, not able to hear and speak are putting in all their brave efforts to aware common people about the safety measures by making them to use face masks, social distancing, proper hand washing and other health advisories.
The young volunteers have come up with an aim to contribute to social reformation and welfare by organising social awareness campaigns, besides the distribution of free face masks and other useful articles.
SSP also wished these children best in their studies and assured to provide support to their social service mission in future as well.
At the end, DnM volunteers thanked SSP Ganderbal for his kind gesture and blessings.
