Stolen Scorpio recovered in Srinagar: Police

Srinagar, August 09: Police claimed to have recovered a stolen Scorpion within hours after in central Kashmir’s Srinagar District after missing report was lodged.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch police said, Today early hours a Scorpio stopped near habbak naka towards zakura side.

Our alert santries/party of naka tried almost to stop but after taking heavy break suddenly Scorpio in full speed backed & diverted towards foreshore road.

Later Scorpio due to highly speed felt down near masjid of fisherman colony (approx 50 meters from main road ) ,02 persons ran away from the spot.

Unit Qat/115 alongwith recovery van recoverd the same & handed over to PS Nigeen.

Pertinently, This development comes within hours after a missing report was lodged at police station in Shopian regarding a four wheeler Scorpio Car bearing registration number (CH 048 1767) which was lifted from Tak Mohalla Shopain on Saturday night.
