SRINAGAR, Oct 9: National Conference on Sunday termed foundering of fruit laden trucks on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway as a “collective punishment and a planned assault on Kashmir’s economy”.
Taking to microblogging site Twitter as per Kashmir Despatch Imran Nabi Dar, spokesperson of National Conference said: “These Delhi bound trucks laden with Apples and the future of horticulturalists are stranded on NH44, now for the sixth day today. Is this collective punishment incidentdental or a planned assault on the backbone of Kashmir’s economy?”
