Students are future of nation: Chairman JKTA Shah Fayaz

SRINAGAR, Sep 14: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) organized a one-day mobilization program at Higher Secondary School Imam Sahab Shopian in which Chairman of the association Shah Fayaz, General Secretary Hatim Qayoom and other core members participated.


On the occasion Shah Fayaz stressed upon teacher community to reach out to every student through whatever means available to them to help shape the society by continuous grooming of students as these very students are future of our nation.

Shah fayaz appreciated the role of teachers particularly vis-a-vis tackling Covid-19 by rendering their services as volunteers.


In his address Shah appealed Principal Secretary Education Dr Asgar Samoon and Director School Education Kashmir to Muhammad Younis Malik to sort out the issues of teachers community on priority particularly transfer policy of Teacher Grade-II/III.

Hatim Qayoom General Secretary JKTA on the occasion said, that trainings are part and parcel of system and we appreciate such steps which are beneficial for the betterment of students community.


Hatim warned such miscreants who are hellbent to harass and mislead teacher community on the name of IMPACT training.

JK Teachers Association showing resentment over the departmental move of dubbing Teacher GRADE-II as untrained teachers despite the fact that they possess qualifications of B.Ed., M.Ed.
Feroz Dar, Chief Spokesperson, Bilal Wani, Sheraz Naikoo-District President JKTA, District Shopian also spoke on the occasion.

JK Teachers Association, Syed Iftikhar Geelani chief coardintor, chief organizer Syed Zaheer Geelani and organizer Raja Tajamul also attended the meeting.
