Srinagar Jan 09: Soon after Board of School Education (BOSE) declared result of class 10thon Thursday, hundreds of students and parents thronged media center as there was no other alternative to get updated from results.
According to news agency, BOSE declared result of class 10th amid internet lockdown which caused panic to thousands of students and families who were keen to check their result.
Due to few internet kiosks established by authorities in Srinagar and other parts of Valley to facilities students and traders earlier, thousands of students and parents got panic in verifying results without any delay.
Media Centre which was established by authorities after abrogation of Article 370, witnessed huge rush of students soon after BOSE announced declaration of result of class 10th.
Media Centre which is particularly established for media personnel was packed with students who were telephonically connected with their relatives and friends throughout the day.
Similarly Deputy Commissioner offices in Srinagar and other districts also witnessed sea of students who visited the respective offices to get updated of their results.
Due to congestion of students and parents at media center, the work of journalists got affected badly on Thursday.
Several students and parents have expressed surprise over the blanket ban on internet service in Kashmir. They said the internet gag has affected the studies of their wards badly; even one cannot access to know his / her result.
They appealed authorities to come clean over the restoration of internet services in Kashmir instead of befooling general public in the name of security and law & order. (JKNS)
