Srinagar, Nov 23: Reacting to the statement made by PDP’s contesting candidate from Sangrama Suhail Bukhari, Apni Party leader Shoaib Lone on Monday said such statements from Bukhari were not expected as they have no relevance on the ground.
Bukhari on Sunday had said that Shoaib Lone is speaking the same language as that of Home Minister Amit Shah.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch, Shoaib Lone said, “Such statements from Suhail Bukhari were not expected from him because he is like a brother to me. He should avoid making such irresponsible statements”.
“Also, Suhail Bukhari is new to politics and people are not meeting him in Sangrama constituency and it has made him little frustrated. While I talk about the development, people identify themselves with me,” he added.
Lone added, “I also want to make it clear that Apni Party is not a BJP’s “B party” as such narrative has been created because people here have nothing else to talk rather than making allegations against us. One should ask National Conference and PDP of its relationship with BJP, as leaders from NC have served during BJP’s tenure while it was the Mehbooba Mufti who brought BJP here”.
