Suspected IED detected in Kupwara

Kupwara, Sep 07: Security forces on Monday detected an improvised explosive device (IED) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that a suspected IED was spotted at Arampora area of Drugmulla in Kupwara district this morning.

He said a 5 liter tin filled with some fertilizer like substance and an electric bulb tied with 20 meter electric wire was lying underneath culvet near Rudbugh crossing on the main road detected by CRPF.

Which was removed by BDS squard carefully and efficiently.

Meanwhile, trafic has been restored from both sides along the Kupwara-Sopore road.
