Executive Councilor Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil Aga Syed Abbas Razvi was Sunday awarded the Kargil Gaurav Award 2021 by Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil here on the occasion of 400th Prakash Purab.
The executive councilor LAHDC was awarded on the occasion of the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Sahib.
An official statement said that Syed Abbas was awarded with the Kargil Gaurav Award for his outstanding contribution to society on the occasions of the International Kargil Marathon 2021, which is being held to pay tribute to the Kargil Heroes, and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Sahib
on his 400th Prakash Purab.
Syed Abbas Rizvi while receiving the award said that it was his honour to receive the award which further strengthens his resolve to serve the nation and the society.
“I hope the International Kargil Marathon will take place again in Kargil to help boost the tourism and sports potential of Kargil, Ladakh,” he added.
