Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari grieved over the tragic loss of four tourists in Zojila accident

Srinagar, December 5: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, on Tuesday, expressed his grief and sorrow over the death of four tourists in an accident at Zojila Pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway. The accident occurred this afternoon after an SUV with at least seven tourists on board plunged into a gorge at Yadav Morh near Zojila Pass. The deceased were from Kerala. Two other individuals, including the driver of the vehicle, sustained critical injuries in the mishap.

In his statement, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed his grief over the causalities in the accident. He said, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the fatal accident at Zojila Pass. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the four tourists who lost their lives in this tragic mishap. May Almighty grant them the much-needed strength to navigate through this profound tragedy.”

He prayed for the speedy recovery of the two persons, including the driver of the ill-fated vehicle, who got seriously injured.
