Uri, Nov 17 : Syed Showkat Hussain of Boniyar Uri who is going to contest upcoming DDC polls, submitted his documents on Tuesday at Higher Secondary School Boniyar.
Hussain who was accompanied with several party workers submitted the required documents before the officials at Higher Secondary School Boniyar.
Hussain who is going to fight District Development Council (DDC) polls on Congress ticket was welcomed by his party workers who chanted slogans in his favor.
Hussain at the occasion appealed locals to come out from indoors on polling day and vote against communal and divisive politics. He asserted that Congress is the only party at national level who upholds secular fabric of the country and a true representative of its people.
