BANDIPORA, Oct 17: Former Minister and senior leader of Democratic Azad Party Taj Mohi-Ud-Din on Monday condemned the killing of Kashmiri Pandit in Shopian and appealed to ‘misguided’ Kashmiri youth to come into ‘mainstream’.
Taj was speaking at a DAP convention that was held in Dak Bunglow Sumbal on Monday which was attended by locals from Sumbal Sonawari.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the convention Taj said that the issues can only be resolved with dialogue only. “Our party’s stand is clear. We want restoration of statehood before the assembly elections in valley,” he added.
He also said: “We want normalcy in Kashmir not the killings.” The convention was presided over by Taj Mohiudin and was attended by party workers of the Sonawari constituency. Many prominent faces from the area joined DAP on this occasion.
