Teen age girl attempt suicide in Sopore

Sopore,18 July: A teenage girl on Saturday morning attempted suicide in Dooru village of Sopore.

As per official reports, a teenager from Dooru village of Sopore attempted suicide. Soon the after the incident, the girl was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore, wherein doctor referred her to SMHS hospital Srinagar.

The girl in under treatment while police have registered a case and started the investigation an official told Kashmir Despatch.

As per the reports, there has been surge in suicide cases in Kashmir during the pandemic.
