Naib Tehsildar Zachaldara, under the overall supervision of Tehsildar Zachaldara, conducted an anti-encroachment drive in the estates of Zachaldara and Sultanpora. During the drive, the road (SHARARYE AAM), locally known as (Rajawath) from Sultanpora Bridge to Dobhi Ghat Zachaldara, was restored to its original position after decades.
It is important to mention here that the (SHAREAAM) is passing through agricultural land, which had been illegally encroached upon by the adjacent landowners for a long time.
This restoration will benefit the farmers by allowing them to use new and modern machinery in their agricultural fields, as the encroachment on the Shareye Aam had previously prevented them from doing so.
The people, particularly the inhabitants of Sultanpora and Zachaldara, have praised the efforts of the Administration.
The action was taken in accordance with the standing directions of the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara and the Additional Deputy Commissioner.
