Terrorism is now confined to J&K: PM Modi

Date:

SRINAGAR, MAR 29 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said citizens in the country were moving forward sans any fear as the ‘chowkidar’ has been ‘alert’ for the past five years.

Asking the people of Telangana to vote for a ‘new India’, PM Modi said that he worked honestly and religiously to ease the life of common people. “Terrorism is now confined to J&K. You no longer hear of news of bomb explosions as it was five years ago,” he said while addressing a mammoth public rally in Telangana.

“Your blessings allowed me to tolerate all kinds of pressures. That’s why I could run a decision-making government,” he said.

He asserted that his government has tightened the noose on supporters of the terrorists and people no longer ‘hear of news of bomb explosions as it was five years ago.’

“The noose has been tightened on the supporters of the terrorists. We go across the border and annihilate the hotbeds of militants. This new identity of India gives energy to New India,” the prime minister said.

Further, the country’s security had improved as bomb blasts were now virtually “confined to only some parts of Kashmir,” while there have been no attacks in other parts, he said. (PTK)
