Jammu, Sept 19: Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters Jammu has issued suspension orders against three police officers, including the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Channi Himmat in Jammu.
According to Order No. 781 of 2025, a copy of which is in the possession of news agency Kashmir Dot Com, Inspector Deepak Pathaina (SHO Channi Himmat), PSI Wasim Bhatti (PP Sainik Colony), and PSI Rohit Sharma (P/S Channi) have been placed under suspension and directed to report to the Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Jammu on September 20 at 10:00 AM. During the suspension period, the officers will remain attached with the District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu.
To ensure continuity of policing duties, the order further assigns SI Noor Hussain to function as Incharge SHO at Police Station Channi, while ASI Devinder Kumar has been directed to take charge as Incharge Police Post Sainik Colony with immediate effect, until further orders.
The suspension order, issued by Joginder Singh, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Jammu, comes in compliance with ZPHQ Jammu OB No. 1323 of 2025 dated September 17. (KDC)
