Hajjin, Feb. 19 : Police in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district claimed to have arrested three persons involved in the killing of a man.
A senior police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a case has been registered under Section 302 of the IPC, and three accused involved in the incident, identified as Shabir Ahmad Parray, Iqbal Ahmad Parray, and Firdous Ahmad Parray, have been arrested. Further investigations are underway.
Pertinently, A 38-year-old man identified as Ghulam Mohiuddin Parray sustained critical injuries during the scuffle and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he was declared dead at the SKIMS Soura medical institution after being hospitalized for a night.
This was the third such shocking incident reported since last month in Kashmir. Earlier, a youth was killed by his brother in Sopore, a man was killed in Ganderbal, and a brother was critically injured in a family fight in Pattan. (KS)
