TRC Grenade Victim from Bandipora’s Naidkhai Loses Battle for Life

Srinagar, Nov 12: A week after a victim from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, who was among 12 people injured in a grenade attack, lost her life this morning, sources confirmed.

Sources informed Kashmir Despatch that the injured woman, Abida from Naidkhai, succumbed to her injuries today after being hospitalized for a week at a hospital in Srinagar.

Notably, police reported last week that they arrested three individuals allegedly involved in the grenade attack that occurred near the Tourism Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar last Sunday, injuring 12 people.

Following the attack, police registered an FIR (No. 66/2024) at Kothibagh Police Station under sections 16 of the UAPA, 209, 115 BNS, and 3/4 of the Explosive Substances Act.
