TRF militant, associate held in Baramulla village : Police

Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of TRF in the district.

In a statement police said, Joint Parties of Baramulla Police headed by SHO PS Sheeri, Army 161 TA and 53 Bn CRPF arrests OGW of TRF/ LET outfit alongwith 1 hand grenade, 2 pistol magazines & 16 live rounds at Kitchama, District Baramulla

Joint parties of Baramulla Police headed by SHO PS Sheeri, Army 161 TA RR and 53 Bn CRPF arrested one OGW of TRF/ LET outfit namely Farooq Ahmad Malik S/O Gh Mohd Malik resident of Kitchama at Kitchama, District Baramulla, 01 Chinese Hand Grenades, 02 pistol magazines and 16 live pistol rounds also recovered from his possession. It is pertinent, to mention here that the said individual is OGW of active militant namely Hilal Ahmad Sheikh resident of Shrakwara Kreeri, District Baramulla. Case under sections of Indian Arms Act and UA (P) Act Stands Registered against them in Police Station Sheeri and investigation set in motion the statement further reads.
