Two drug peddlers held in Sopore

Sopore : Police on Monday evening claimed to have arrested two durg peddlers during naka in north Kashmir’s Sopore village.

A police official told Kashmir Despatch during naka at Waroora two persons identified as Bashir Ahmed Baba son of Late Khazar Mohammad Baba resident of Magraypora Sopore and Showket Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Khaliq Bhat of Botingoo Sopore were apprehended and large quantity of illigal drug were recovered from them.

Officer said a case FIR number 27/2020 under section 8/20 , 29 NDPS act has been registered at Waroora Police Station and further investigation has been taken up.

Officer further said that these two were wanted drug peddlers in the area.
