Two individuals held along with arms and ammunition in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov. 22 : Police in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district arrested two individuals and recovered arms and ammunition from their procession.

An official told News Agency First Break that during a check at Bemina Bypass in Srinagar, arms and ammunition were recovered from two Kupwara residents.

The officer identified both individuals as Mumtaz Ahmad Lone (38) and Jehangir Ahmad Lone (29) both residents of Trehgam Kupwara.

The officer said eight grenades 2 pistols were recovered from them during the search.

The officer further added that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. (FB)
